CONGRATULATIONS DADS
To all fathers, grandfathers, and Godfathers of all ages, shapes,
and sizes; we hope your day is filled with lots of sunshine, happiness
and pleasant surprises. Surprises? Yes, we are wishing for you the
kind of surprises that turn a frown into a smile; the ones that
make fatherhood both rewarding and worthwhile. We are thinking of
happy moments that lighten up Dad's face with pleasant thoughts
and happy memories that time can not erase. To all grandpas reminiscing
of the days that used to be, count your blessings and be grateful
for all those treasured memories. Have a blessed day with your families
and make some new lasting memories.
GUILD MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The Women's Guild will be having their membership drive. The envelopes
will be in church and can be returned in the collection baskets.
Dues for the 2005-2006 year are $5.00. All women of the parish are

This organization does many wonderful things for our parish. Why
not consider becoming a member of this active organization?
Any questions? Please call Shirley Roskos (708) 560-0071.
WELCOMING COMMITTEE
The Parish Council would like to take this opportunity to thank
our ladies and gentlemen, who greet people at the beginning of each
Mass. It is wonderful the way you welcome people to our church.
Your work has encouraged us to expand upon this ministry by forming
an official "Welcoming Committee". The Council would like
to invite others to join this small in numbers but big in heart
group. The duties are simple and the work is satisfying.
If you are interested in becoming a member of this ministry, please
contact the parish office (708) 331-8400.

and phone numbers you can access.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
Confident that God's love draws us together, we look to God for
healing, reconciliation, and peace. It is a privilege to offer God
thanks and praise. Saint Paul reminds us to consider ourselves dead
to sin and living for God. We often fall short of this goal, but
if we seek God, He will forgive us. His mercy has no limits. As
baptized believers we have nothing to fear. Christ died for our
sins and prepared the way for our eternal salvation. God knows the
secrets of our hearts and delivers us from our enemies and gives
us great joy.
